Capabilities
My approach is unique because all pieces are cut on a wet saw to create the specific shape of your design. My capabilities and services include, but are not limited to:
- No limit to size - from a few square feet to hundreds of feet
- All edges are honed so there are no sharp pieces
- Grout joints remain the same size throughout
- Ability to mix materials – natural stone, glass, ceramic tile, porcelain tile, sea shells, etc.
- Materials are chosen according to color, texture and size desired
- An array of colors and typography to meet your business' requirements
- Pieces are glued to a mesh backing to maintain the integrity of the design and for ease in installation
- Shipping with detailed installation instructions or onsite installation
Design and Fabrication Process
My design and fabrication process allows us to collaborate effectively so I reach your desired outcome. This can be over several days to weeks depending on the project and client availability. Once we're connected via email, phone or in person, the planning process begins:
- Q&A session including: inspirational photos or ideas, design specifics, budget and deadline
- Sketch a layout and review with client for approval or revisions
- Final project approval including design, mosaic elements, price, installation needs and timeline
- Down payment is due
- Fabrication begins and client is sent status updates
- Development is complete and final balance due
- Mosaics can be shipped via FedEx or UPS with installation and maintenance directions
My Story
Mosaics by Lisa was established in 1995. I have always been an artist and love to be creative so I decided to see how I could apply these skills using tile and natural elements. After working with tile for a short period of time, I realized I had the ability and tools to highly customize and craft something really special. So I created Mosaics by Lisa and set out to reinvent the art of mosaics by showing clients how limitless the possibilities were with custom designs. I take the utmost pride in coming up with ways to make even the most difficult design concepts into a work of art. I am based in Corpus Christi, Texas but create mosaics for clients across the country.
